About this place
This is a rustic, cabin-style condo rather than a designer rental. Knotty pine on the walls, a deep sofa in front of a wood-burning fireplace, and a kitchen stocked for cooking real dinners after a day outside.
In winter you can walk to the Hunter Mountain base in about five minutes, and ski back toward the condo by way of the Otis Quad and C Lift when conditions allow. In summer the same slopes are for hiking, and Kaaterskill Falls is twenty minutes away.
The building is a small residential complex on a hill, so plan on arriving by car. You have parking for two vehicles and a wraparound deck that looks out at the mountain.

Five minutes to the lifts is not an exaggeration. We walked over with the kids in boots and were skiing by nine. The fire every night was the best part.

Clean, warm, and stocked. Robert answered a question about the fireplace within minutes.

August 2025
Came for hiking and the falls. The deck in the evening, with the mountain right there, was quiet and lovely.

It is a rustic condo and that is the charm. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything, and parking right outside made loading skis easy.
